Cyril Ramaphosa Re-elected as South African President Amid Historic Coalition Agreement.

The Parliament of South Africa has elected Cyril Ramaphosa as the country's President for a second term, with 283 votes, defeating his opponent from the EFF party who received 44 votes.

This victory follows a historic coalition agreement between the ruling African National Congress (ANC) and opposition parties after the ANC failed to reach 40% of the votes cast in the general election on May 29 of this year.
