Prime Minister Urges Parents to Ensure Children Attend Secondary School

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has called on parents across the country to ensure their children attend secondary school, emphasizing that without education, they cannot progress far in life.

"Fellow parents, make sure your children go to school. We cannot go far if our youth are not attending school. We are building schools everywhere; we want all areas to have schools," the Prime Minister said.

Majaliwa, who is also the Member of Parliament for Ruangwa in Lindi region, made the remarks while addressing residents of Mtondo Village in Nambiranje Ward.

Highlighting the progress made as a result of the Government's efforts, Prime Minister Majaliwa noted that Ruangwa District has made significant strides in the education, water, and health sectors compared to previous years.

He mentioned that the district now has three girls' schools: Liuguru, Ruangwa Girls, and Lucas Malia.

"We have also succeeded in building secondary schools offering advanced level education, which include Ruangwa, Mbekenyera, Nkowe, Lucas Malia, and Hawa Mchopa. The sixth school in Mandawa will be completed soon," he emphasized.
