Excessive Borrowing Leads to Domestic Violence, Warns Dodoma Police Commander




Dodoma, Tanzania - In a stern warning against excessive borrowing, Dodoma Regional Police Commander, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) Theopista Mallya, highlighted the alarming rise in domestic violence cases resulting from overwhelming debts. Speaking passionately about the issue, SACP Mallya urged individuals to borrow within their means and to repay responsibly rather than resorting to drastic measures that can harm themselves and their families.

"The burden of excessive debt can lead individuals to abandon their families, exposing children to harsh living conditions and various forms of abuse such as sexual violence, physical assault, and emotional neglect," stated SACP Mallya.
