The Minister for Information, Communication, and Information Technology, Nape Nnauye, has responded to the public's concerns, stating that the government is aware of all ongoing discussions about whether or not the X network should be shut down. He emphasized that the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) will fulfill its duty to ensure that Tanzania, especially the younger generation, is safe.
