President Samia Heads to U.S. for Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue

President Samia Suluhu Hassan is set to depart today for Des Moines, Iowa, USA, to attend the Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue organized by the World Food Prize Foundation.

According to a statement from the Presidential Communications Directorate, President Samia is among four African leaders invited to participate in this high-profile event, which will convene global leaders, experts, prominent figures, and policymakers, particularly those focused on agriculture, nutrition, and resource management.

The dialogue aims to address solutions to global food security challenges, exacerbated by climate change, underscoring the urgency of sustainable food production strategies worldwide.
