Tanzania’s leading golfer, Madina Iddi, continues her impressive international streak by winning the Uganda Open Ladies Championship at the Entebbe course, her third major title of the year.
Madina Iddi once again proved her prowess on the golf course by claiming victory at Uganda's most prestigious ladies' golf event, outshining top Ugandan golfers. This win marks her second title in Uganda within just 10 days, following her triumph at the Uganda Club Ladies Open.
Earlier in July, Madina also emerged victorious at the Zambia Ladies’ Amateur Open Golf Stroke Play Championship, defeating competitors from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Malawi, and Zambia.
In addition to Madina's success, fellow Tanzanian golfer Aalaa Riyaz Somji made history by recording a hole-in-one on the par-3 hole 6. Other Tanzanians who participated in the tournament included Vicky Elias, Yasmin Chali, and Loveness Mungure.
