Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has directed public institutions in the country to establish robust strategies for the use of digital systems to improve government performance.
Prime Minister Majaliwa issued this directive at the culmination of Public Service Week celebrations and the launch of digital systems designed by experts from Tanzania, which took place on June 23, 2024, at Chinangali grounds in Dodoma.
Speaking at the launch, the Prime Minister urged heads of government institutions to develop both long-term and short-term plans on how these digital systems will be utilized to enhance public service delivery.
The Public Service Week celebrations were accompanied by exhibitions from government institutions aimed at educating the public about the roles of these institutions and enhancing collaboration and engagement between the government and the private sector.
