Government Implements Tax Exemptions to Boost Natural Gas Vehicle Usage

"To encourage the use of vehicles that run on natural gas, the government continues to offer tax exemptions on compressed gas cylinders used in vehicles and reduce the duty on vehicles that use natural gas. We believe all these strategies will help increase the number of vehicles using gas in the country, which will lead to a reduction in the importation of fuel from abroad and ultimately save foreign currency.” - Judith Kapinga, Deputy Minister of Energy
