Speaker Orders Investigation into MP's Allegations Against Agriculture Minister:

The Speaker of the Parliament, Dr. Tulia Ackson, has instructed the Parliamentary Committee on Rights, Ethics, and Privileges to meet and discuss the actions of Kisesa MP, Luhaga Mpina, who submitted evidence documents to the media accusing the Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Bashe, of lying in Parliament before these reports were tabled and discussed in the Parliament.

Announcing this in Parliament, Speaker Tulia also directed the committee to review the evidence presented by the MP and provide an opinion on whether the evidence substantiates the allegations that Minister Bashe lied in Parliament.
