Tanzanian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Mauritius President

Tanzania’s Ambassador to Mauritius, based in Zimbabwe, H.E. Simon Nyakoro Sirro, presented his credentials to the President of Mauritius, H.E. Prithvirajsing Roopun, on October 16, 2024, at the State House in Port Louis.

During the meeting, Ambassador Sirro conveyed greetings from Tanzanian President H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan. Their discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in economic diplomacy and the finalization of key agreements, including the Double Taxation Agreement and a Prisoner Exchange Agreement.

President Roopun assured full cooperation and emphasized the need to enhance collaboration in sectors such as economy, trade, investment, and transportation.
