President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania has arrived in Beijing to participate in the Heads of State and Government Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The summit marks a significant occasion for reinforcing the strategic partnership between China and Africa.
Earlier this year, on April 26th, Tanzania and China celebrated 60 years of diplomatic relations. This milestone reflects six decades of mutually beneficial strategic ties and enduring friendship between the two nations.
As we honor the vision of our founding leaders, it is our responsibility to ensure that these relations continue to flourish, driving further progress in key sectors of our economy. The summit presents an opportunity to strengthen this partnership, with a focus on leveraging it for greater economic development.
