Tito Jackson, an original member of the Jackson 5 and brother of Michael Jackson, has died at the age of 70. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Tito, who performed alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, was known for his guitar playing and backing vocals in the Jackson 5. The group rose to fame with hits like "ABC" and "I Want You Back," selling over 150 million records worldwide and earning a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
His sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ, confirmed the news on Instagram, expressing their shock and heartbreak, and urging people to "Love One Another," a message Tito often preached.
Days before his passing, Tito visited a memorial for his brother Michael in Munich. Tito also had a solo career as a blues musician and continued performing with his brothers as The Jacksons in recent years.
Tributes have poured in, with former Jackson 5 drummer Jonathan Moffett expressing his devastation at the loss. Tito was the third oldest of the nine Jackson siblings, a family that has left a lasting legacy in the music industry.
