The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation responsible for East African Affairs, Hon. Dennis Londo (MP), held discussions on August 17, 2024, with Chido Munyati, Head of Africa Regional Agenda at the World Economic Forum (WEF), and his assistant, Dr. Dieynaba Tandian. The meeting focused on Tanzania's participation in the upcoming World Economic Forum, scheduled for January 2025.
During the meeting, Hon. Londo highlighted specific areas of priority for Tanzania that will be discussed at the Forum. These priority sectors include agriculture, energy, environment and climate change, trade, industry, and tourism.
The discussions aimed at ensuring that Tanzania's strategic interests are well-represented at the global economic platform, aligning with the nation's development goals and international cooperation efforts.
