Travis Scott, one of hip hop's biggest stars, was released from French police custody without charges after being arrested at a Paris hotel following an altercation with a security guard.
The Paris prosecutor's office confirmed that Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, was taken into custody early Friday after an incident at the Georges V hotel. However, the police custody order was lifted, and all proceedings were terminated as the incident was deemed minor.
The altercation reportedly involved the rapper and his bodyguard, with hotel security intervening, leading to the call to police. Scott was in Paris to attend the Olympics, including watching the United States' basketball semifinal victory over Serbia.
Scott, known for chart-topping hits like "Sicko Mode" and "Highest in the Room," was previously arrested in Miami Beach in June on charges of trespassing and public intoxication. The rapper shares two children with his former girlfriend, media personality Kylie Jenner.
