President Samia Suluhu Hassan has highlighted the significance of the Suluhu Academy project in Kizimkazi Mkunguni, Southern Zanzibar, describing it as a vital initiative that embodies the aspirations of both the current and future generations of Tanzanian youth.
Speaking on August 22, 2024, after laying the foundation stone for the academy, President Samia emphasized the importance of creating infrastructure to support the economic, health, and cultural needs of the nation’s youth. "A large percentage of Tanzanians are young people who need infrastructure to support their activities in various sectors," she stated, adding that the government is committed to developing projects that cater to the needs of the youth.
The President underscored the broader vision and dreams that the Suluhu Academy represents, particularly for young people with sports talents.
