Renowned Bongofleva artist Joseph Francis, popularly known as ManDojo, has tragically passed away in Dodoma after being assaulted by individuals who mistook him for a thief.
According to reports, ManDojo left his home yesterday morning following a dispute with his wife and did not return. His friends searched for him without success until a video surfaced on social media showing him being beaten by a group of people who believed he was a thief.
Msafiri Yera, a close friend of the late artist, confirmed the incident. He was the one who went to the police station where ManDojo was taken after the assault, and then transported him to the hospital. Sadly, ManDojo succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the attack.
